SEND Teaching Assistant (with responsibility for SpLD & Access Arrangements)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced teaching assistant to lead the Access Arrangements process. The successful applicant will have experience of applying for Access Arrangements and a proven track record of supporting students with SEND in making excellent progress in lessons. They will have a particular interest in the area of SpLD and have a vision for planning interventions to meet the needs of students across the academy. The successful candidate will provide in-class support, deliver interventions and develop resources in order to enhance our SEND provision. The post would suit somebody with previous experience of working in a school or with young adults or who has a keen interest in enabling young people to fulfil their potential.

Applicants must have a good level of literacy and numeracy skills. Successful candidates will be expected to be fully involved in academy activities. Additional responsibilities would be discussed dependent upon the experience and qualifications of the applicants.
