A reminder about coats and uniform

From today we will be reinstating our full uniform rules.

This means that students will not be allowed to wear coats in the Academy. Coats can be carried or put in bags.

This rule was relaxed for the cold weather. As the weather is now getting warmer, it is no longer needed for students to wear coats inside. This week we have been explaining this change to students in Tutor Time so that they are prepared.

If you have any questions, please contact your child’s Heads of Year.

Announcing Sports Day 2024!

We are thrilled to announce that our sports day for Years 7-10 will be held on Friday 19th July.

We will be taking selected students to the Manchester Regional Arena, Eastlands. These students will be selected due to their excellent attitude to learning in their PE lessons this academic year, and consistently demonstrating our Ways of Being Co-op.

We are very proud of the sporting heritage in Manchester and take great pleasure in being able to provide our students with the opportunity to participate and compete at world-class track & field facilities; the Regional Arena has hosted the Paralympic World Cup and the annual National Athletics Trials.

If your child is selected, we will write to you in due course to confirm the arrangements for the day.
