Your child’s first day back

• Year 7 students: Tuesday 3 September. Students should arrive at 8:20am.
  Year 7 students will be met by their tutors and taken through their induction, including a welcome assembly, a tour of the school, how to use the diner and more. 
  
  A small number of Year 7 students will be welcomed into our Elevate provision. The SENCO will contact and meet with parents and carers of these students before September. Students joining Elevate will start at 9am on the first day and finish at 2:30pm

• Year 8 students: Wednesday 4 September. Students should arrive at 8:20am.
  Year 8 will go straight to their Tutor Room. 

• Year 9 students: Wednesday 4 September. Students should arrive at 8:20am.
  Year 9 will go straight to their Tutor Room. 

• Year 10 students: Wednesday 4 September. Students should arrive at 8:20am.
  Year 10 will go straight to their Tutor Room. 

• Year 11 students: Tuesday 3 September. Students should arrive at 8:20am.
  Year 11 will go straight to their Tutor Room. 

• The Bridge: Students studying at The Bridge will start on Wednesday 4 September for a ‘meet the new staff’ induction. Years 8 and 9 Bridge students should  attend between 9:30am and 11am and Years 9 and 10 Bridge students should attend between 1pm and 2:30pm. Parents and carers are welcome to join us. The Bridge opens fully on Thursday 5 September with a prompt 8:30am start.

Where your child needs to go on their first day back

From September, we will ask each Year Group to enter via a different gate and entrance. 

Please see the video below. Staff will be on hand to help direct students in September.

Uniform and ties

• Your child is asked to arrive in September without a tie. 
• All students will be given a new tie in September. These will no longer be clip-on ties, but full ties. Students will be taught how to tie them in Tutor Time.
• We are grateful for your support in ensuring your child is wearing other items of uniform correctly. Full details are available on our uniform page.

Lunch payments

Over summer we are planning to move away from Parent Pay and start using Arbor for online payments. Any balance on your child's account will be moved over to Arbor. Once this is in place, we will only offer a cashless dining experience. We will be in touch to update you on the progress of this move.
