Safer Internet Day 2025
We're joining schools across the UK in recognising Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 11th February 2025.
This year's theme, "Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online," focusses on helping young people navigate the online world safely and identify potential scams. Safer Internet Day is a global initiative, coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre aiming to create a better and safer internet for everyone.
During the week of Safer Internet Day, students will participate in various activities designed to promote safe and positive internet use.
We encourage you to discuss online safety with your children. Understanding the messages they are learning at school will help you support them in navigating the digital world safely.
Resources for parents & carers
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's online safety, please don't hesitate to contact your child's tutor, class teacher, Mrs Hadian (Head of our ICT Department) or our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
You don’t need to be an expert on the internet to help keep your child stay safe online. Below are some links to websites which provide advice and resources and are there to support you as you support your child to use the internet safely, responsibility and positively.

School show success
Over the weekend our talented students performed to the public. They presented our musical extravaganza - Matilda.
We are really grateful to everyone who came to see the show and so proud of all the students involved on stage and behind the scenes.
If you love Theatre shows, then save the date for our Trust production of Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street - some of our students will be performing in this show alongside students from other Co-op Academies in July. Tickets go on sale after the half-term break.
