Facilities are typically available during term time between 6pm and 9pm Monday to Thursday and by agreement on weekends. Facilities can also be booked during school holidays. Some of our more popular facilities are

Theatre
A state-of-the-art, versatile venue available for dance and drama productions, awards ceremonies and more.

- 229 retractable tiered seats

As a filming location
- The Go Ultra Low campaign recorded part of their 2019 adverts with us, promoting the uptake of electric cars. They wanted to show a modern school drop-off.
- BBC Question Time filmed an episode here in 2022. We were delighted to have Higher Blackley represented in the national debate.
- CBBC show Class Dismissed filmed series 6 with us in 2021
- In 2021 we were the location for a promotional video for Uniwipes
- We were very proud to use our facilities and students in 2020 to help promote the new Co-op Academy Belle Vue, prior to it opening. It is now a thriving school.

- Anthem Tuition held their 2022 Xmas Concert here
- Almost Famous Theatre Company presented The Addams Family
- London Russian Ballet School performed classical pieces for the North Manchester community for a full house.

“The Co-op Academy on Plant Hill Road is a really good facility which I would recommend, they are open all year round apart from 2 weeks over Christmas so it is back to back Football!
