Weekly Bulletin for parents and carers, 11 March

Dear parents and carers, welcome to our latest bulletin.

🏋️‍♂️ A big well done to Year 11 for their hard work during mock exams. This week there are still some mock exams for some options subjects. Year 11 will receive their results in a special mock results morning in a few weeks' time.

🌱 🐝 As we move in to spring, we are pleased to announce that we have some new after-school clubs starting. A new Year 7,8,9 Gardening Club starts this week (Tuesdays, meeting in Science 4). We will be planting vegetable seeds and planning our new allotment area. And our Beekeeping Club is open to all years - students are asked to collect an application form from the Science Department if they are interested.

Ramadan Mubarak

Co-op Academy Manchester wishes its students, families and staff a Blessed Ramadan 🌙

Dinner balances

Soon our catering provider, Taylor Shaw, will no longer allow students to go into debt. We ask parents to keep an eye on their child's balance and transactions using Parent Pay

Thank you to parents who let us know the payments button in MyEd was not working - this should now be fixed.

Changes to school bus services

From 24 March 2024, school buses in Manchester will be brought into the Bee Network.

We have been advised that there are no changes to fares or the timetable, but the operator of the 708 service will change to First Manchester.
