Weekly Bulletin for parents and carers, 15 April

We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable break during the school holidays. We now enter the final term of the year - a very important time for all our students.

⏰ Lessons start at 8.30am

πŸ‘ Show our Ways of Being Co-op
🦸🏾‍♂️ Be a Co-op Hero - those who maintain 100% behaviour, attendance and punctuality will be invited to be part of our next Rewards Events

We would like to remind families that from this week, students will no longer be able to go into debt on their lunch accounts. Please ensure your child has sufficient balance on their account - the easiest way is to view your Parent Pay account.

For any students who take the 708 yellow school bus, please note that a new company now operates the service as part of the Bee Network. Students need to have their igo cards with them to access the school fares. For more information please visit the TfGM school bus website

Manchester Cup Winners!

This is the moment our Year 8 girls football team won the Manchester Cup in a tense 5-4 game on 25 March.

We saw great character from the girls as they came up from behind, scoring 2 goals in the last 10 minutes!

SEND Coffee Mornings

Co-op Academy Manchester is hosting a series of SEND Coffee Mornings on a monthly basis. These informal mornings are for families with children currently at the academy.

These mornings aim to support parents and carers of children with SEND by connecting them to the Manchester Parent/Carer Forum and other families, as well as to share feedback and help shape developments from the SEND offer at Co-op Academy Manchester.

The next event is Thursday 25 April, 9:30 - 10:30am

Main Year 11 exams start in just over 3 weeks
