From September 2025, students who choose to wear a skirt to school must wear tights.
I am writing to consult you on some proposed changes to the school day and holiday pattern for September 2025 onwards. Please could you discuss these changes as a family at home and if you have any feedback, please let us know.
We are quickly approaching the final exams and want to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support. It has been a challenging but rewarding year for Year 11 and we have been so impressed with their efforts and determination during this time.
Our teachers are looking forward to meeting you at our Year 8 Progress Evening on Thursday 26 June 2025, 4pm - 7pm. This is an in-person event taking place at the academy.

Dear parents and carers of students in Year 9,
Your child is coming to the end of Key Stage 3 and about to start the next stage of their journey with us as they study for their GCSEs over Year 10 and 11.
Dear parents and carers, please find this week's bulletin below.
We wish a continued Ramadan Mubarak to all of our families who are observing this holy month. Where your child was indicated as Muslim on our admissions form, we have sent a letter explaining our attendance procedures for Eid.
After Easter we are asking families to only pay online (using Arbor) for lunches and trips - we will be a cashless academy. (Help with Arbor available here). Our next co-op Heroes rewards trip to Alton Towers requires a payment of £25 through Arbor - parents and carers of eligible students have been sent the details.
Due to building work taking place over the next few weeks, Gate 6 will be temporarily out of action.
