Annual Report 2017 – the benefits of being a Co-op Academy

Today the Trust’s Annual Report is published, which covers the period up until the end of 2017. Our academy benefits enormously from being part of the Trust whilst still operating with a very high degree of independence.

The report is published at an exciting time for our Trust, as our sponsor, the Co-op, has increased its commitment to education. The Co-op provides a wealth of benefits to our academy including commitment from its staff as governors, and opportunities such as work experience for our students.

The Trust organises school improvement services for all its academies, and Trust academies have made excellent progress – especially in ensuring that more disadvantaged students in our schools make better progress than the national average.
